In attending a day at the Kate Wolf Folk Festival, we were referred to Mendocino Magic as an alternative to camping with the festival's throng. It turned out to be a wonderful choice. Stacy met us on the property when we arrived, and immediately made us feel at home as she showed us the different locations on the property to pitch our tent, either in the vicinity of the houses or further up by the reservoir. The campsite we chose was completely private, next to a lovely pond surrounded by reeds and cattails. We also ventured up to the beautiful large reservoir, which was peaceful and perfect for a swim in the sun. We fell asleep at night to the serenade of a bullfrog and woke in the morning to a multitude of birds chirping. The bathroom provided was adequate for our needs. Recommended for easy, quiet, get-away-from-the-crowd camping.

We stayed at Mendocino Magic while we attended the Kate Wolf Festival last weekend. The grounds are wonderful - very private and lush. We had a completely comfortable weekend including two trips on kayaks and swimming in the reservoir. The owner was on site and checked in with us to be sure everything was going well. We heartily recommend this place.

Great little gem on the Mondocino Coast. Right in the heart of a charming little town. Great lobby for people watching. Wonderful martinis.
