This is truly the pinnacle of smart but casual Italian fare. This bustling trattoria had lines of hopeful eaters hoping to snag a table without a reservation. NOT! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the food matched it all.
We ate ahi crostata and bursts with heirloom tomatoes. Yum! The gnocchi in a brown butter sauce were fantastic plus the Trompetto with duck was excellent. The Pot de creme (not Italian but who cares) was also to die for.
Don’t miss this hot spot, but reservations are almost always needed!
