Owner description: The Integratron structure is a machine that was the creation of George Van Tassel, and is based on the design of Moses' Tabernacle, and the science of Nikola Tesla. This one-of-a-kind building is a 38-foot high, 55-foot diameter, non-metallic structure originally designed as a rejuvenation and time machine. Today, it is the only all-wood, acoustically perfect sound chamber in the U.S.

I drove 3 hours to get there. They're closed on Tuesday. They don't even answer the phone. Don't even bother asking the locals where giant rock is - they haven't even heard of it!

Unique. The sound bath was interesting (once). Newer owners are milking the property for everything it's worth. Affiliated with the desert land trust that buys or gets grants to expand JTNP in hopscotch fashion.

Private sound bath courtesy of Drayton was just the extraordinary experience we needed to get our minds in tune with Joshua Tree. Giant Rock was wondrous and the rec for Indian food at Sams was much appreciated. Do not miss Integratron!

We went in for a private sound bath with a wedding group- they comped the bride and groom which was really nice! The structure was crazy awesome- a big dome where the sound reverberates off the walls- once you're up there they give you a little time to explore and before the bath. If you stand right in the center and speak you can hear your own voice buzzing in your ears- hard to describe but very cool! Also if you stand across from someone equidistant from the center and talk to each other it sounds like you're speaking right into each others' ears. The bath itself was incredibly relaxing- you lie down on mats kindergarten nap style while the bather plays different frequencies on sound bowls (at least that's what I think they're called). Very hard to describe this experience as well- it's like the vibrations from the sound are moving back and forth inside your skull and resonating all over your body. Can't really articulate much better than that so you'll just have to experience it for yourselves! When it was over it was hard to move at first because we were so relaxed. This is definitely a unique experience that everyone should try at least once!

Put it on your bucket list! You MUST visit to the Integratron at least once. As soon as you walk in the place you feel like time has stopped. The grounds are fun to explore. We took a rest in the hammocks while we waited for our sound bath to begin. They don't start until they are full, which I didn't like. However, once the sound bath started we became very relaxed. I felt rejuvenated afterwards, as did all of my friends. We also took time to play with the instruments downstairs. It was a great experience.
