We had read the reviews comparing this to the Vegas Wynn buffet and really hoped Christmas Eve dinner buffet would rock us out of this world like Vegas, but that was not the case. In our opinion, this was overpriced at $29.99 pp, no discounts for kids. There was a 20% discount for two if you have a casino card. For two adults and two kids, unless you have two cards, only two of you gt a discount. There was a dim sum station, crepe station, and different ethnic cuisines. There was a salad area, dessert station, and ample food, but this atmosphere was not Vegas like the Wynn and remote from Wicked Spoon and no where close to the Bachannal buffet in Vegas. We did not have lines eating early. The service was not what we were used to as our plates were not quickly removed from the table and no drink refills for us when we were there.

First time (Saturday 11/24/2012) in ranch house buffet foods are good but i noticed the seating arrangement is confusing.First they call the customer to be seated inside the seating area they kept going in circle until they find a table thats available.I was there for at least 45minutes noticing the same procedure call customer to be seated and go incircle again.suggestion before you seat the customer make sure that there is available. table. waitresses food servers cashier have excellent service.

Just went there for the first time and was very surprised by how good the food was. We arrived about 3 pm so lines were short and we got to eat quickly. By the time we left - about 5 the lines were huge! Definitely worth the trip up the windy mountain road to get there!

The Ranch House Buffet at Barona is spacious to accommodate all the venues. There is a seafood station, Mexican food station, dessert bar, etc. We ate on a Thursday evening and there was no line to speak of. Staff was friendly and attentive.

However, the price for the buffet seems expensive at $19.95, especially if you are a light eater. The one draw back, no tapioca pudding!
