This was our favorite experience while on vacation in the area. It is a bit of a splurge, but the dinner cruise was worth every penny. The two hour boat ride was wonderful. The staff was friendly and did a great job. The food was excellent, the best we had while on vacation. This is a must for anyone visiting the area!

Kids love to check out caverns on our road trips and these were a lot of fun. Gift shop had many reasonable trinkets and snacks. Picnic area was nice. Great views of the lake. But as mentioned before: WEAR WALKING SHOES. There are hundreds of steps throughout this tour, wet surfaces in caverns, and steep incline. Kids under 5 would probably need help. And the seniors on our group all made it, but a couple had a difficult time with steep dirt incline heading back to top. Definitely a must see (0:

Great catamaran ride and wonderful tour by entertaining guide, Caleb! On a hot afternoon, the cool caverns, their rich history and entertaining firms were the perfect and very interesting place to go. Just beware that you have to walk down a steep hill to the catamaran, then take a bus to the caverns and be able to climb more than 100 steps in the caverns as well as walk back up the steep hill and steps when you're coming back by catamaran,

We saw this on a flyer at our hotel and decided to spend the morning taking this trip. It is a mile and one half off the highway, down a switch back two lane road. The price is a bit steep, but we spent a lot of time doing the tour. A lot of steps or ramp time from the gift shop down to the road which then is walked, down to the water and the pontoon boat ride across the water to a bus ride up a one lane switch back road with some 17% grade hills (per the driver, who I do not doubt). The 1 hour tour is very incite full and interesting. Many stalactites and stalagmites were seen. Four or more different types of forming of calcium filled art. Our guide was engaging and showed us a lot of formations that were supposed to look like stuff (if you have a lot of imagination). Made it fun. Then a 180 stair case down to the beginning.it was hot outside, but 55 degrees in the Caverns.

The lake is beautiful, the water is clear and there are miles and miles of shoreline. One can either fish, rent a motor boat, or go on a dinner cruise along the lake. Cruises depart from the gift shop. The Caverns can be reached by taking a short catamaran ride and then transferring to a bus that will take you to the top of the mountain. Here you will go underground to see the geological formations. You need to be physically fit to be able to negotiate all the stairs. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
