If you want something other than the generic chain hotel, this place is perfect. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, the rooms are very clean & spacious, the beds are really comfortable and the grounds are pretty and well-maintained. Sure, it's not brand-new, but it's charming! The rates are good for the area, and it's conveniently located for restaurants, shops, and medical facilities. The only slight detraction was the continental breakfast - the room was small and crowded. But clean! We would definitely come back to stay again.

Your comment about location is well taken as we have a lot of guests that use us as a headquarters and take day trips north to Disneyland, west to Laguna Beach, and south to San Diego. We chose this hotel because of the position! We need an hotel very cose to Disneyland park and we got this.
We arrived late (around 11pm) and the man at the desk was very kind. The breakfast was included and was mostly continental. Good room, clean and quite.
The hotel is not in a central position but it wasn't what we were looking for. Maybe for this reason it could be less expensive.

You are right we do have a great location across the street from the Five Lagunas Mall and a short drive to Disneyland and Laguna Beach. BTW, guest feedback on the restaurants across the street is very positive on Kings Fish House, In-N-Out Burger, Rubys, and BJs. Please visit us again soon, enjoy your summer ^_^.

The good..... the location is good within walking and easy driving distance to many restaurants. However, the room was dark due to all the overgrown trees and smelled very musty and damp. The carpeted floor was atrocious, being very dirty. When I showered in the morning (and my shoes were off only in the room), the shower basin ran black from the dirt on the bottom of my feet... yuck!! The morning breakfast was one of the worst continental breakfasts ever, with very limited options. The only saving grace is the room rate was low and the front desk was personable.

Hello Duane: Thanks for your review. We appreciate your feedback on the carpet in your room and I will personally check it out. I want you to know that we vacuum daily, and shampoo quarterly or as needed. Regarding our free continental breakfast we offer our guests a large variety of items to appeal to as many people as possible. Here is a brief summary of items: Muffins (3 choices), pastries (3 flavors) toast / bagesl (5 selections) cereal / oatmeal (7 choices) yogurts (3 flavors), fresh fruit (2 choices) plus fruit cups. I have been going there for years mostly for family reunions don't want to stay anywhere else they're always more than hospitable and Charlie that works at the front desk is always very helpful with anything I may need help with and of course the Beautiful garden views that makes it 100% done deal not too many places have a garden View such as this I will always stay there

Front Desk: Personable, Helpful, Accommodating, Friendly and Efficient.
Complimentary Morning Breakfast: Clean, Nice Service, Great Coffee and everything you need to start the day.
Pool/Spa: Fun, Fun, Fun. Clean, Lots of Towels and plenty of snack machines.
Parking: Outside your room, quiet and always felt safe
Sleeping Room: Good, all we needed for a 3-Night stay and we would not hesitate to stay much longer. AC in room was excellent, TV functioned perfectly and the beds are very comfortable (pillows a bit hard so bring your own if you are particular). Also, extra blankets available from Front Desk.
Room tip: Ask for a Garden Room - charming gardens and lush landscape is very well kept.
