We were very pleased with our stay. Hotel staff is always very professional, room was clean and comfortable, the outdoor pool area was very inviting, and the breakfast choices were good. For the cost and location compared to other hotels in the area, you can’t beat the Laguna Hills Lodge. We have stayed here a few times before and we have never been disappointed.

Clean, comfortable beds, pool and spa are great. Mario has great customer service, and friendly. I recommend this hotel the price is great and affordable. They also have breakfast in the morning and it's included in your nightly rate. francin L

We stayed one night at the Laguna Hills Lodge and loved it. Old school road side type motel that has been well maintained and kept its charm despite new buildings popping up all around it. Cute pool, hot tub and a small gym (that I could’ve/should’ve/didn’t use!). Breakfast included (simple but filling). Very nice staff, proprietor - welcoming at check-in, smiling at check-out. Would stay again!

Would definitely stay here again. Nice breakfast, beautiful property, great pool, close to shops and restaurants. I arrived early and I didn't mind waiting but they shuffled some guests around and found me a room.

Hallway carpet old and dirty looking; external concrete stairwell and elevator also show age. Ice machine outside and downstairs was old and not efficient - could not produce enough ice to fill bucket after someone else used it before me.
Nice remodeled room but below average bed and bedding (old and threadbare sheets; blanket thin, pilled and worn). Very thin walls and ceiling: could hear people in adjacent rooms PLUS heard someone stomping across the ceiling FOR HOURS at night, very difficult to sleep. Water pressure in shower was ok.
Free breakfast but few options and very basic, coffee not good (fortunately there was a Starbucks nearby). On-site parking tight but free; located near Irvine Spectrum and lots of places to eat.

As a reader of this review let me provide a few facts: The oldest hallway carpet at the Lodge is three years old; our elevator was refurbished in 2018; and regarding breakfast here is a brief list of options: Muffins (3 flavors), danish (3 flavors), toast / bagels (5 selections), cereals / oatmeal (7 choices), fresh fruit (2 types) plus fruit cups, yougut (3 flavors), and much more.
