This was my first time I visited this hotel. I had a great experience, all services are good. The pool is clean and has warm water, also this place has a great location, you can found a lot of services near to the hotel: restaurants, shopping malls, entertainment, pharmacy,etc.
The rooms are comfortable, and have TV, air conditioner and WIFI.
If you come to Laguna Hills, I recommend you "Laguna Hills Lodge".

We really do have a great location, across the street from the Five Lagunas Mall and a short drive to Disneyland or Laguna Beach. Visiting friends in nearby Laguna Woods and stayed at this hotel. Although a little dated, hotel rooms were clean and well maintained. Front desk staff were mostly friendly and helpful (One young woman manning the front desk wasn't very helpful in giving/providing directions to a nearby store.) Check-in and -out were easy. Price was as advertised. Breakfast was OK - no hot food other than toasted breads.

You are right about breakfast, it is a Continental Breakfast with "no hot food other than toasted breads". Our thinking is to offer a large selection of breakfast items (i.e.: muffins 3 choices, danish, 3 flavors, cereals / oatmeal 7 varieties, breads / bagels 5 choices, etc.) so everyone has something that they like. Should you wish a full hot breakfast we can recomment Chick-fil-A next door or Ruby's at the mall across the street. Thank you for staying with us, we hope to see you again soon ^_^.
We had a very comfortable stay. Rooms were clean. Pool area provided plenty of sitting space both in shade and sun. Was cleaned on a very regular basis. Breakfasts were good. Highlight of hotel is the excellent and friendly service from the front desk. Helped us find hiking in the area and printed out maps. Seemed genuinely interested in meeting our needs. Will definitely return.

Laguna Hills Lodge was convenient for my needs. Check in/out was easy and no hassle. No surprise fees. It was exactly as agreed. The room was clean and comfortable as well as quiet. It was nice for a change to stay in a room that had thick enough walls that you didn't hear every word from neighboring rooms.
I will certainly consider Laguna Hills Lodge again in the future.
I didn't get a chance to try the Finnish Sauna....next time.

Very nice and clean, renovated. Super friendly front desk. Nice pool area, good breakfast. Looks cute from outside and the garden is full of flowers. We went there for a family reunion and everyone enjoyed the place.
