We spent this past weekend in Laguna Beach, CA and knew I had to return to this quaint and comfortable restaurant. The first time we had lunch which consisted of a delicious salad and freshly baked french bread! This time we had breakfast. My husband and I each had a crepe, my Mom had french toast and our daughter had a typical eggs/bacon combo. The crepes were absolutely delicious. They were so light and fluffy. Neither my husband or I felt full so I had to have a chocolate dessert crepe which again was amazing. The service was very good and our server was knowledgable about the dishes offered. He also made some positive suggestions to add to our meal. Before we left we watched one of the cooks making the crepes right in the front window. It was tough to leave as the restaurant has such delightful smells that linger and make you want to stay.

The decor was beautiful and elegant. The service was knowledgeable, friendly, and super-attentive. The staff brought us a large supply of tasty, warm baguette to munch in before the appetizers arrived, and the waiter advised us of this right away during ordering. The French onion soup was classic and delicious. The filet mignonette creeps looked lovely and tasted as good as they appeared. The chicken florentine was excellent and served beautifully with a nice helping of seasoned rice and lightly-seasoned steamed vegetables. All portions were generous. The house specialities are it's beautiful and delicious pastries, brought to the table in a dessert tray. Too many delicacies to decide from. An excellent experience which we will repeat in future visits to lovely Laguna Beach.

I had a very good experience here. The restaurant was empty, as it was in mid January, middle of the week, late dinner. But the meal (Lobster) was really good! Fresh, cooked to perfection. The preparation, was old school, creamy. We even got a small lobster bisque amuse bouche. Since we were the only ones, service was more than perfect, but not intrusive. I took a cronut home for next day's breakfast - it was good, even the morning after :)

Lovely French restaurant with a wonderful viewing terrace right on the beach. Delicious smells that make you want to eat the "menu". The ONLY thing wrong: the bread that accompanied the omlette was terrible. Everything else, was delicious, and the french toast and pancakes "smelled" wonderful.

We went there for desserts and coffee. We ordered 2 cafe mochas, a tiramisu, a fresh fruit tart, a white chocolate cheesecake and a brownie chocolate mousse cake. The bill came out to be $25 which actually is cheap for the area.

Food: Tiramisu tasted okay but it wasn't moist and we were disappointed. Fresh fruit tart was disappointing as well, the tart shell was hard and the mascaporne tasted powdery. Brownie tasted good and the white chocolate cake was okay. Though it was cheap but it was still not worth the money.

Staff/Service: They have a dessert area, so you can buy the desserts from the counter (its expensive if you sit and order on table, so you should definitely order them to go and then take a seat) and sit on one of the tables in the desserts area. The staff was quite helpful with our inquiries.

Ambience: Great views of the beach and the ocean, outside seating available as well. I won't order desserts if I happen to visit this place again though.
