“Great breakfast view!”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

The breakfast buffet was nice, but more importantly we had an amazing view of the coastline. Really lovely!

“Very good brunch spot overlooking the Pacific Ocean”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

The spread for brunch was very good; fresh fruit, fresh pastries, great waffles, an omelette bar, and more.

Service was pretty good for a buffet and the view was spectacular. I would definitely return, and always ask for an ocean view table.

“Great location, good food”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

The restaurant was conveniently only a short and scenic walk from our hotel, with great views of the ocean and Main Beach. We didn't try it until our second day there, for lunch, and then ate there for dinner and breakfast the following morning. If you're bent on patio dining, be prepared for a wait (we're not fans of outside dining, so not a problem for us). We were fortunate to get in without reservations for lunch, with a great view from table #19, but don't even think about going without reservations for dinner or breakfast (buffet only at a flat fee of $17.50 pp). Reservations (at least in our case) ensures you'll get in quickly, with a nice window table. The lunch menu was ambitious and we weren't that hungry, so we split the enchilada plate. It was still a lot of food, and surprisingly delicious (we expected it to be more 'touristy' than tasty). Dinner was equally delicious, and the breakfast buffet just so-so (it was Mother's Day weekend and we didn't even consider standing in line for the made-to-order omelettes). Service was very good, if a little slow because they were so busy. Prices were also a little on the high side, but the view, priceless.

“The location must be saving this restaurant”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

We sat in the outdoor patio which overlooks the ocean, the view was fantastic. The service was poor, I think only one waitress for the entire outdoor patio is all I saw, so it took forever, to even order a drink. We had fish and chips which was average and nachos which were yuck! Had a couple drinks and thats it, ended up spending $100. I will not go back, for the view there are better restaurants, or just walk down the beach and sit on a bench. I think this restaurant has just been around a long time I remember it from when I was a kid, or maybe we just had a bad expereince because it seemed to be pretty crowded (hence why it took over an hour to get our food).

“An icon of Laguna Beach”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

Let's start with the margaritas... amazing! This restaurant is Laguna Beach at its best. The food is great, although they just changed their menu. They used to serve Steak Nachos out on the patio that were out of this world! The menu now is pricey, but everything is top quality and delicious. You can't get a better view and feel of Laguna Beach than at this restaurant. The atmosphere makes me feel like I'm on vacation even though I live about 7 miles away! I sure with they would bring back those Nachos!
