Sunday evening, 6:00 p.m. Reserved on Open Table, seated immediately on arrival. Tables full, noise level moderate, live singer/guitarist performing.
Drink order taken quickly and served promptly by friendly server. Ordered blackened fish tacos and Hawaiian butterfish. Three tacos were nicely presented and very tasty; not blackened much and not at all spicy; served with fried plantains in lime sour cream sauce which was almost like a dessert. Hawaiian butterfish was very mild, served on a bed of brown rice with mushrooms, a bit of mango salsa, julienned carrots and baby bock choy. Beurre blanc added a bit of sweetness without being overpowering.
All in all a nice casual dinner, good food and service, fairly priced.
