“Great restaurant in Laguna Beach...”

We ate at Nick's for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The Cioppino and toasted bread were excellent. Seriously considered ordering more bread to soak up the remaining broth. Our perfectly charred artichoke appetizer was delicious. The service was spot-on and attentive.
Better make a reservation for one of LB's best.

“Casual dinner that never fails”

I have been there a couple of times. Always full packed with people enjoying the long bar or the comfortable tables. I recommend the Halibut sandwich and tap beer (doesn't get any colder)

“Lunch at bar”

Sat at bar, had ahi salad and steak salad. Wonderful! Also the salty dog cocktail was fabulous. Good service, sitting at bar meant we didn't need to wait on a busy sunny Sunday.

“Always busy...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2014

The menu is limited, but the food is consistently good. The interior is very casual and a bit noisy.
Try for a table on the front patio especially if you like to people watch. The prices are reasonable___it is a good value. The biggest drawback is the long wait for a table. Make a reservation or plan to put your name in and take a long walk around town!
