Great dinner and drinks spot! Must get the artichoke. It is heavenly. Wait staff was wonderful. The Butter Cake at the end was also off the charts.

“Yummy but Noisy”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

Nicks is located in the heart of Laguna Beach. Street metered parking is available and there is a parking lot behind the restaurant. Lots of places for shopping in walking distance. Nick's offers limited patio seating. When you make your reservations ask for the patio. Inside there is seating around the bar, several booths and some tables but it is very noisy. The beet salad was more like a dessert of pears, beets and pecans...very yummy. The blackened sea bass sandwich was fresh and stuffed with tasty tomatoes. You can also order this sandwich with mild spices. Our chicken pot pie was bland. Great staff here as well. They called us early to let us know the gas for the restaurant was off and suggested we make other plans. An hour later when the gas was on they called and asked if we wanted to keep our reservations. We also got a warm greeting when we arrived and were quickly taken to our seat.

“Good Location, Good Food”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

This place is in the main area of Laguna Beach and has a great atmosphere. It always seemed to be busy! My wife and I shared three smaller appetizers and they were all very good!

“Delicious all around at Nick's”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

When visiting Laguna beach we just wanted a good meal without any snobbery. This place was young and the decor was modern and the waiters were actually nice and super attentive. We had the tuna tartar to star which was so yummy and I had the fish tacos which were spicy and flavorful. My boyfriend had a New York steak which w cooked perfectly and delicious. It came with a loaded baked potato too. It's a little bit pricy but it was a great meal at a some what reasonable price which is hard to find in Laguna beach.

“The best food and service!”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

This was the best food and service we had during our stay in Laguna Beach! Friendly and attentive staff. We had the shrimp taquitos, ribs and steak. Would definitely go back.
