The only Chinese restaurant we eat at. It's delicious!! Well worth the short drive from Walnut Creek.

This is one of my husband's favorite restaurants. The food is fabulous - always fresh with tastey sauces. The atmosphere is pleasant and the crisp white table cloths add elegance. The restaurant is always busy and reservations are advised if you plan to go at a busy time. The wine list is extensive. But the service is extraordinary, friendly, and quick. No "empty" plate remains on your table more than a few seconds! A wonderful place to dine - lunch or dinner! And a great value!

Uncle Yu's has always served me fresh, tasty, traditional Chinese food at a reasonable price. Everything at Uncle Yu's will be $1.00-$4.00 more expresive than most Chinese restaurants, but I've found the food to be exponentially better.

My girlfriend and I eat at Uncle Yu's regularly, lunch and dinner. The lunch menu is full of options, and is priced affordably (~$10 per person, after tax). The a la carte entrees are a bit pricier, and the bill can add up quick, if you are not careful. I don't recommend purchasing soda, as it comes in a tiny little tall glass, and I don't think refills are free (I may be wrong).

Overall, the food at Uncle Yu's is a step ahead of most Chinese restaurants and the prices are a notch above. If you are looking for a good Chinese restaurant in Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Concord, or Pleasant Hill, I cannot think of a better one, and I eat out a lot.
