Our little group, mom, dad, their two daughters aged eight and 11, plus grandma and grandpa ate inside in a spacious setting. Tables are pleasantly spaced inside. Arugula salad was very good, Grilled artichokes were okay (I'd skip'm next time). Short ribs and mussels were good. My halibut was a touch overdone. Kids loved the creme brûlée desert. There's something for everyone here. It's a solid, very pleasant, in-town place. We'd go again.

It was crowded on a Saturday night and deservedly so. We liked all the dishes we had which included mussels, caesar salad, sole special, fettucine, etc. Server was very attentive and the food arrived promptly as ordered. All in all, a very satisfying experience.

The room was chilly, we kept our coats on the entire time. We were seated and told someone would be right with us. 15minutes later we had to flag down a busperson to even get water. It took almost 1.5 hrs before our food was served.
Disappointed.

Rustic Tavern captures everything one would want in a local restaurant -- outstanding food (could be termed farm to table), great service, good wine list, and a bustling atmosphere. Have been there countless times and it remains consistent and enjoyable. Would highly recommend it.

Truly amazing food - huge portions, don't be shy about sharing an entree. However, the tables are small and tightly packed into the space so you can't help but listening in on your neighbors' conversations. We use the proximity of the tables to talk to other custormers and compare notes on what's good.
