We stay here twice a year for about a week.. Free parking, outstanding location and pleasant staff are only the beginning.
We generally have 5 business meals a day and use their restaurant for many of them. The booths make the conversations quite private and both the hotel and staff are quite obliging.
The food is excellent and service is competent. (Hint- be careful of Sunday brunch, for that single meal, it is not a good place for business. We just mad reservations for April in one of their suits which is most gracious and a fine place to transact business.

Room Tip: Windows are sound resistant, but the back or sides of the building are quieter. High floor suits us better.

I was in the Bay Area on business and stayed here for one night. This is a lovely hotel and I would definitely stay here again -- and ideally bring my wife. The staff was excellent, room very nicely decorated and the bed and bedding extremely comfortable.

We stayed in a lovely premium king room. It was so quiet and peaceful. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed a massage at the spa, lounged by the pool which seems like a world away from the hectic pace outside. We live local and love to stay at the Lafayette Park Hotel for a relaxing get away. We also would highly recommend the Park Bistro which was hoping for happy hour. Loved the fact that we could check in for 24 hours and not have to drive any where.

Stayed at the Lafayette Park Hotel for three nights visiting family in the area. Our room was a little dated but well maintained and large. Of all of the East Bay hotels we have stayed at, this was the most atmospheric and elegant. Service by all staff came with a smile. Also we enjoyed the wonderful Sunday brunch and another breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. Will stay again.

The Lafayette Park Hotel is truly a hidden gem. Set in downtown Lafayette, the hotel is an oasis of comfort, relaxation and dedicated customer service. The rooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed. The pool/spa area is secluded. Spa services are to die for. The food and drinks at the Bistro are wonderfully satisfying. Breakfast, whether in the dining room or in room service, is always perfect. If you want to venture further afield there are several lovely restaurants in downtown Lafayette or Walnut Creek, the hotel has a shuttle service to get you there in case you did not rent a car. I have been staying at LPH for over ten years. I can't wait for my next trip to the East Bay so I can stay there again.

Room Tip: In the fall/winter ask for a room with a fire place.
