Service really good. Too much food but tasty. Asked for cheese on my eggs, scrambled and they said they can't do that ???? Gave me cheese on the side and asked to microwave it???
WHAT??? If you going to be a breakfast place you should do my eggs anyway I want them???
Diner atmosphere. Over priced.

So for those of us that just don't seem to indulge in a "hearty" fat filled YUMMY breakfast much anymore...when you do go here! It is hard to find a "non chain" diner anymore. This is the place to go for some good eats. Hash browns...check Bacon....check Fluffy pancakes...check
Buttery toast....check eggs...check Service good and the activity is cooking.

Good menu, breakfast anytime, good service, great portions and value--need I say more? The bonus is a fabulous collection of local historical celebrity photos adorning the walls that are a must see even if the food wasn't as good as it is. We'd definitely go back.

Stopped in for breakfast. Service was fast and excellent. Big mugs of coffee and the taste was robust. Food came very hot off the grill and was very tasty. Very large portions. Couldn't eat all my portion. Prices were higher because of the portions I would guess but if you cannot eat all of it what a waste. Looks the the in place to be in La Quinta because it was packed with people. Never had an empty coffee cup and I am impressed by this as we never hat to ask for a fill up.

The small Louisa's Pantry in downtown Palm Springs opened in the 40' & was a must for everyone; star, local or tourist. Many years later (thinking 90's) moved to a larger space in Palm Desert. Didn't care for the layout but the cornbread & homemade jam were still very good. Now it's moved to LQ right across from St Francis Church on Washington in a new, bright, clean and well laid out building that can accommodate many yet still feels like a cozy coffee shop. Photos of long gone-bye big celebrities that brought the glam to the old Palm Springs area hang on walls overlooking the busy room. This place Hums with efficient, welcoming service. We enjoyed large Mimosas while ordering a delicious Belgium waffle with mixed fruit & whipped cream, delightful Monte Christo sandwich. Husband said he loved his banana-big chunk walnut pancakes. We also had perfectly crisp bacon for the table. We were all brought good, strong, hot coffee right away & many refills were offered.
Really like this for breakfast. Fast, friendly food service, not gourmet, downhome good food.
