“Lots of food and excellent service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2013

Louie's Pantry serves a lot of food quickly and with excellent service. Our server, Pam, was very patient and helpful with our elderly parents, even helping mom scoot her chair in without being asked. Your coffee cup will never get empty! Thanks for a nice leisurely meal!

“Meh!”

This is sort of akin to Denny's type dining experience. The food is certainly edible. But it's nothing to write home about.

“A nice break from resort fare”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2013

this place deserves a visit from anyone who needs a change from the typical overpriced, bland resort fare. We visited for breakfast, and loved the home cooking, friendly service, and bustle of the place. Precious few of these kinds of restaurants in the Coachella area, in our experience, so make sure to swing by.

“Comfort breakfast!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2012

Louise's is the place I choose to go when I want a great breakfast, served fast by friendly staff. The menu is huge, my favorite is "Create your own Omelet". You can have it any way you want it, with numerous choices to pick from.

If it's your first time there, don't pass up the cornbread. They're known for it for a reason!!!

Go early, because it's a local favorite. Prices are fair for the quality you get. I've also had business breakfasts there; they never rush you, which is amazing because there's often a wait.

If you like your hash browns or bacon crisp, don't be afraid to ask--they always accommodate! Thumbs up for my favorite breakfast spot in the valley!

“Price vs Value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2012

This was our first visit to this restaurant, evidently known for breakfast. You must get there very early on the weekends or be prepared to wait. Patrons are standing in the parking lot indulging in Bloody Marys, etc. until they are seated. We elected to wait unitl a weekday morning and were able to sit at the bar. Service was excellent....no wait time. Pancakes are huge....I could only eat one (took the other home). Corned beef very good and homemade. Very good everything. It is a couple of $ more than breakfast anywhere else in this area. They certainly do a great business!
