My husband and I were visiting from Florida and wanted to play a course without a lot of homes lining the fairways. The fellow at Standby Golf suggested this city owned course. It was definitely a beautiful course. The draw back was the pace of play due to cart paths only. The starter told us to expect 4 1/2 hours but in reality it was 5 1/2 hours. We are both good golfers with handicaps of 9 and 12. Our tee time was 11:30 and we were one of the last groups to be able to finish at 5:00. Beware if you book a tee time any later.

Great food at reasonable prices. Nothing to dislike. Love sitting outside when the weather is fabulous.

Booked via GolfNow. Paid only $50.

Course is a bit more challenging than average desert course. However pretty fair, usually.

Very nice condition. Starter was nice to me.

Highly recommend.

Great layout, low price, good conditioning, and it wasn't aerified until the next day. The marshals were wimps about the terribly slow people in front of us, but that's public course golf.

This is a beautiful course. The entrance is amazing. There is a very small golf shop so clothing selection is limited compared to some other pro shops in the valley. The resturant has basic sandwiches and salads nothing outstanding. One of the best maintained driving ranges I've been on. What makes this course rate 5 stars from me is the setting and condition of the course. This public course was in better shape than a lot of the semi-private courses in the valley last season. Definitely worth playing at least once and you may end up being a repeat guest!
