Like Mexican food? Then you will love Adobe Grill. A creative menu, mixing the tastes of Mexico with the style, service and quality of this Waldorf Astoria property. Try the Chicken Mole which is beautifully prepared and not often understood by a typical "combination plate" visitor. A fun and special evening for a small group of friends you won't forget.

Good ceviche. Overprices margaritas--stick with the beer. Good combo platter with chile renellos and enchilada. Avoid the tamales, they don't live up to the hype. Expect lots of kids and rushed service.

Ah the tableside guacamole and seasoned chips was to dream about. Fish tacos cooked perfectly with really interesting beans and great rice. The chicken mole divine (although for the money, they did find the smallest chicken ever--looked like squad pieces!) and amazing margaritas. Probably the most expensive Mexican food I've had outside of a Rick Bayliss restaurant, but sure was good!

We went here for dinner n Christmas. My family had many items, and all were tasty. I will highlight the three best items...

Tamales- what can I say except that they have won awards for their tamales!

Carne Asada- probably the best I have had anywhere. Cooked perfectly, it was very tender and juicy.

Guacamole- this is made table side. The waiter will flavor it to your taste, making it mild or spicy. My kids enjoyed watching them make this, but it was even better to eat!

My husband and I both ordered the filet. It was absolutely perfect, cooked just to order. I highly recommend you visit the adobe grill while at the La Quinta.
