“Great Place to watch football!”
Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

If you are a football fan this is a fun place to catch up on all the action. We were there for week 17 of the NFL season, with a lot of very close games. In terms of football viewing and fan excitement this place would be tough to beat.

It is very loud, so don't plan on much conversation. The food is typical bar food, we had the chicken quesadilla, which was really good. The beer was cold, but given the size of the crowd, the service was slow.

Pricing was pretty good, and they have a good size menu.

So for a lot of fun on game day, check this place out.

“Loud”
Reviewed December 26, 2013

Good food and cold beer, however it gets very very loud during footballs. You have to yell at the person you are with if you want to have a conversation

“Classic American Sports Bar - don't bother if you are not in the "in crowd"”
Reviewed December 2, 2013

My husband and I went here for dinner at 5:30 pm on a Monday night, so we deserved the rowdy, raucous atmosphere with Monday night football happening! Despite the crowd and the noise, the service was fast, the food was good and of course there are hundreds of beers to choose from. Amazing how few of the beers were from outside the US! There was some kind of DJ with some kind of contest going on, but no one bothered to explain what was happening to us and there was no way we could hear the commentary. If you are not part of the "in crowd", give this place a miss!

“Nice job Drew”
Reviewed November 13, 2013 via mobile

Originally I would have given this a couple of stars if not for the great service from our waiter. We arrived for a beer at 2:55 on a Monday. At 3pm they commenced their weekly live radio broadcast. Now if you're into that, that's fine with trivia, games, stats and more but if you're not interested, there's no getting away from the guy/girl djs who are in love with their voices so much they have to broadcast at 90 decibels over their pa system. We politely asked if they could turn down volume"just a bit" so we could hear ourselves talk. Drew came back, was really nice but said that they cant adjust the volume and suggested outdoor patio. Cars were going by on hwy 111 but it was still much quieter than inside. Thanks Drew...and his manager even comped us the first round which wasn't necessary. Great onion rings, burgers and a very large selection for beer snobs. Could have been customer service nightmare but they made it great. Big sports radio fan? You'll probably have a good time. Otherwise, do a different time and day.

“Just a beer bar and TV sports hangout”
Reviewed October 28, 2013

We were hoping to find some really different beers here but it seemed like a lot of the usual. I don't think the US imports a lot of different beers. The list was big but uninspiring. We did not order food at all knowing we were going out later but it looked like all typical pub foo. It was dark, cold and not that exciting. Maybe during a big football game but this was just the Thursday night game of the bottom feeders. Nice to see a Canadian CFL game on the TV.
