“Very Good Food”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

Went for Pizza at dinner. It was delicious and cooked right. Menu had a lot of good items. There could have been more anchovies on the Pizza however but it seems like all places are cutting down on them for some reason. Service was slow and there was No Happy Hour so that was a disappointment. Prices were in line with restaurants in the area during tourist season. Portions were very good and all seemed to be made from fresh products. Would go back because of the taste and quality.

“Great thin crust pizza”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

We've been to Bucatini four times. We've had their pizza, which is really good if you like thin crust. They make the pizza and cook it for 80 or 90 seconds in their wood fired pizza oven. It is really, really good. We have also had some of the pasta dishes. Because we've been there with friends, we can say unilaterally that everybody has been extremely happy with their salads, pizzas, and entrees. The portions are generous and taste good. Definitely a must try. They are dog friendly on the outside patio, which is a plus since we like to take our dog out to dinner with us if we can.

“new place”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

Unfortunately, we went mid afternoon, and the patio was closed, and you do know, everything tastes better outdoors! The interior of the restaurant is rather dull. Food was just ok.

“Delicious!! ”
Reviewed March 20, 2014 via mobile

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Some patio seating and darker lighting for inside. Great vodka cream sauce on gnocchi and ravioli, gluten free prosciutto pizza, Italian sausage pizza and salads. Served with warm and fresh bread, oil and balsamic. Big portions and priced right. Enjoy!

“Tasty pizza, great service”
Reviewed March 10, 2014 via mobile

Two of us dined at Bucatini for lunch prior to heading to the tennis tournament, and it was a great way to start the long day. We sat out on the patio by the fountain and enjoyed the perfect La Quinta weather. We both ordered pizza, which arrived about 10 minutes later. I enjoy brick oven, Neopolitan style pizza, and this was better than most-- large, filling, and with lots of toppings. It was very fresh tasting. An oddity I noticed, which wasn't a problem, was that pizzas with leafy greens on them, like mine with arugula, was covered to a crazy extent with leaves. I only ate a third of mine. Anyway, the food was very good and service was exceptional. I do wish they had patio tables that weren't so tippy they needed to be shimmed in order to be stable enough to eat on. Overall, I recommend it highly.
