Stayed, one night only, but would stay again longer, Sept. 2012- my husband and I were in suite #7, The room was beautiful, very clean with a lovely view through French doors to Lake La Quinta. Awoke early to see a wonderful sunrise across the lake. Loved the large tiled shower and double sinks in the bathroom.
We arrived after hours but instructions were straightforward. We did have some trouble with the TV but minor detail that was easily corrected with a telephone call to Chris who was very helpful.
Breakfast in the morning was tremendous and did enjoy the orange infused water available anytime. Didn't have a chance unfortunately, to utilize the pool but looked nice.
Located in a quiet neighbourhood just off Washington, with lots of golf and restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed in the Chateau Suite #9 Sept 21- 23, 2012
It was easy to find at night-time, and the unattended check in was also easy with Chris' emailed instructions for after-hours.
The suite is at the very end of the 2nd story; only room # 8 is attached on one side. We never heard any noise of any other occupany even though it appeared filled.
The mini refrigerator has some assorted chilled wine and non-alcoholic drinks. There was still room for us to store the 3 bottles of wine and champagne we brought, along with cheese, crackers, deli meat and whole deli chicken we had for dinner since we arrived late.
There was a small basket of for sale snacks on top of the mini-fridge. Additional room temperature bottles of wine and SmartWater were on in the room.
The air conditioner was sufficient to cool the 106 - 108 heat of summer. An additional ceiling fan was also available. There is a nice gas-lit fireplace; however, given the summer heat we did not use it.
Each morning breakfast was lovely: orange juice and coffee from a self dispensed maker/Thermos and served egg-based entree/fresh fruit on beautiful dishware. Mimosas and Bloody Mary's were available for purchase.
The loveseat and clear acrylic chair next to the small desk under the flat-screen TV were modern in style; the bed was nicely linened and very comfortable to sleep in.
Plenty of counter space with the 2 bathroom sinks and around the 2 person bathtub. Plentiful pump amenities: Bath wash, shampoo and conditioner with a small sample of lavender liquid soap and bar soap provided.
As in many other reviews, the view of the lake is gorgeous with 3 individual Roman drawn shades.
I did not use the pool; however, my husband enjoyed it immensely during the evening hours.
The location was very near the Indian Wells golf courses; 20 minutes from Taquitz Creek and Indian Canyon courses.
THE SMALL ITEMS:
The jacuzzi tub for 2 filled quickly with hot water; at least 104-106 temperature which is to my liking; however, no workable jets were ever determined to be available.
The TV is a little small from viewing from the bed; we could not read many of the type displayed.
The loveseat is not arranged in the direction for viewing the TV, so it is apparent to use while in bed.
Although the door that opens to the patio has a warning of the presence of outdoor insects, we apparently let in over 50 "midges" (small gnat/flies that apparently do bite like mosquitos) when the door was opened for less than 1 minute. They were found on the bathroom countertop the next morning and I suffered a bite on my leg that still itches.
The dining kitchen area has a VERY SMALL ice maker. When we went to retrieve some for our champagne, only 1 scoop was available for the bottom of the ice bucket. It also had a glass, ice-cooled water dispenser, nicely flavored with orange slices but was either empty or nearly empty everytime we went to get some. Given the summer heat, these 2 items were very essential!
OVERALL: We would gladly stay here again.

Room Tip: I heard the breakfast server say the downstairs jacuzzi suites with massage package is one of the fa...

I took my boyfriend Wilford here for his 48th birthday for the weekend, He never stopped smiling the entire time we were there. Our room was just breathe taking. There was 2 dozen long stem red roses on the table for him when we arrived, and Champagne already chilled waiting for our arrival. We did not know how to turn on the dvd player for the 42in tv that was in our room, called Mary on her cell and she was there in 10 minutes and got it working. Breakfast was brought in style to our room, and the second day we dined in the dinning room where we were served like a king and queen. Every thing was perfect, the hot tub, the steamer in the shower the full kitchen, the bathrobes, the bidet and all the way down to the bed, was so relaxing. Took pictures by the lake, we cant stop thinking about Lake La Quinta it truely is a Unique Bed and Breakfast!
Thank you Tammy and staff for everything that you did.

We held our small, intimate wedding here at sunset. It was overlooking the lake and the fountain, andi it was wonderful. Our guests loved it and we found it to be the perfect venue. The staff was helpful and quick to assist with our requests. We cannot wait to go back for our anniversary, if not sooner.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the wedding spa villa suite #1 and it was perfect! I'll bet all the rooms are lovely...

Jamie, our concierge, was incredibly helpful and made our stay very pleasant and seamless. We stayed on the 1st level and did not hear anyone above us. Quiet place for much needed R&R. we plan on staying here in the future.

Room Tip: request a jacuzzi tub room if possible
