While staying at the La Quinta resort, we heard about the kids golf program at the Mountain Course. My husband and son went two days in a row and loved it. Price was reasonable and included a cart. My eleven year old son enjoyed so much that he took private lessons on the second day. This was his first time golfing.

Beautiful Vistas. Great shape, lighting fast greens. Have to try the foot long hoot dog fed three guys.

The Mountain Course is a decent tract, but it is pretty boring until about the 14th hole. Fairways weren't in the best of shape, typical for a public course perhaps. All in all, we felt it was overpriced for the quality. There are more courses around the area that provide a better value.
