This was our first time here, and we really enjoyed our meal. Yes, it was expensive, but compared to other places that we've been to out here for New Year's Eve, we felt it was very reasonable. We didn't ask for outside seating because it was so cold that night, however, next time we will ask for outside seating because they had plenty of heaters and everyone looked very comfortable. Our steak was done perfectly. We didn't care for the wasabi mashed potatoes, but it was the only choice on the limited pre fixe choices that night. Compliments to all the staff because they were all very friendly. We will definitely try them again for a non-holiday meal to see if we have the same experience.

A great place for a special dinner. The outdoor area is magical and you should request a table outside. Lots of heaters to keep you warm. If you have a party of 6 or more, ask for a cabana. The fare is bistro-- a little of everything. Seafood is very good. Wine list top notch

Lavendar Bistro has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in the desert. We have been to Lavendar three times in the last month, and each time was a wondserful experience. The menu is good, food better and ambiance wonderful. Service has been very good all three visits. We will return soon.

We had our Xmas Evening meal here whilst on vacation. Despite having pre-booked it felt very much like we were fighting with the walk-ups for a table, ending up sat in the middle of the floor in the bar area. The bistro is huge, you don't get that impression from the outside. Both of our meals were well presented and cooked, no problem there. We did however have an issue with cutlery, being given a knife and fork for our desserts, both of which included cream (or custard). When we asked for a dessert spoon two different waiters tried to give us tea spoons, saying there were "no big spoons left". Eventually one arrived, by then the food was cold. That apart, we had a good time, but could have been better.

This was probably our favorite spot. Too bad we like to keep trying new places, because we sure would come back. They don't start serving in the dining room until 5:30 and we wanted to dine early to see a movie. So, we had salads and drinks in the bar, then moved to the dining room for our entrees. They couldn't have been nicer--seems people do this a lot. Really interesting semi-open bar with fire pit and happy hour! The salmon was mouth
watering, as was the duck. We will be back on our next visit!
