“Fine if golfing but don't make a special trip”
Reviewed June 21, 2012

Ate twice here for happy hour after golfing. Beers are $3 which is a good value. Appetizers are $6-7. The Caeser salad was very small (should have been a $1.99 side choice), the pork sliders were decent but skimpy on the pork, the three tacos were nicely flavored but were about 9 average size bites, the cheeseburger also was decent but small in size.

Small portion sizes, decent quality but there's a lot better choices in La Quinta.

“Lunch after a round”
Reviewed April 10, 2012

We ate lunch and watched the Masters on the TV. We choose 2 appetizers to share and also split a flatbread pizza. The chicken wings (baked) were really good, the onion rings average, and the flatbread pizza lacked taste. It's a really nice dining room and the service was good.

“Great Afternoon”
Reviewed March 30, 2012

I was waiting for my husband to finish up his golf match and my daughter to come by and drop her dog off with me. I had the Pesto Shrimp Salad for lunch and it was really good. My daughter had a flatbread pizza when she arrived and she enjoyed it. Happy Hour starts at 3:00 and is always fun. Great place to hang out and the servers are very attentive.

“what a beauty”
Reviewed March 25, 2012

After an extensive renovation...this place is a nice departure from a typical "golf club 19th hole". Expansive views of PGA West, outdoor seating, full bar that allows for viewing - both of the greens and the people! - and always, always exceptional service.

The food is fresh and has some fun famous names associated with some of the dishes. It is the ONLY clubhouse open to the public, so if you have always wanted to visit PGA West, golfer or just to enjoy the beauty, stop in here for lunch or a cocktail! A bit noisy when filled to capacity, but so what? Adds to the fun.

“You Will Enjoy This!”
Reviewed March 16, 2012

We were so pleasantly surprised to learn that Ernie's, while part of a golf club, is open to everyone. Our outdoor table was sublime - cool breezes, beautiful view of the course, perfect surroundings. Our food was wonderful with all fresh ingredients. The server was attentive, friendly and took our time constraints to heart. The general manager as well as the chef stopped by to ensure all was wonderful - and it was! Although we were there for lunch, we learned that Ernie's serves breakfast, as well as dinner. In short, it was great
