Description: Welcome to North Woods Inn of San Gabriel, La Mirada and Covina! Come for juicy steaks, fresh seafood, enormous salads and our signature cheese bread. Whether you are in the mood for a quiet dinner for two, want to bring the office for lunch, or celebrate your next family milestone, our restaurant is the place for memorable meals. The warm woodsy atmosphere is very unique and features stained glass, oil paintings, & period lamps. We are just minutes away with locations in L.A. and Orange County. Enjoy abundant lunches and dinners at all 3 locations.

Definitely a fun atmosphere – peanut shells on the floor and all. The artwork is… well…varied, but also interesting. The service was friendly and helpful. But the food was not special – but then again we came for the experience and location. The piece of fish I had (Mahi) was very good; the vegetables, however, were cooked beyond tasteless and the rice was not worth the calories. Several at our table had the wings as starters and they recommended them. Ample parking – which is always appreciated. The portions were generous so sharing is a good idea. I would keep this high on the list for large groups or relaxed outings.

Started having my birthday meals here for the past 5 years. Had seen the cabin theme restaurant for years but never went it. The interior follows the exterior theme. Lots of great food to choose from.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. We love going here for birthdays and spend every Christmas Eve at Northwoods inn. The meals are so huge we usually split a plate which is about seven dollars which is a way better deal than buying two full meals. There's plenty of salad and bread for the entire family and they will refill both if you ask for more.

I Met a Couple Of Friends Who Were Visiting From Northern California For Dinner On Wed. December 18th, 2013. I Haven't Been Here In Years, Yet It Was Like Being Here For The Very First Time. You Have To Check Out "The Big Grizz" To Your Left Of Entering The Restaurant. It's A 'Cuz' I Would Love To Take Home!!! As We Took Our Table, We Noticed Bear Skin Rugs Graced The Walls Along With Bear Traps. Hold The Traps... The Food Was Delicious as I Took The Steak Sandwich With Cheese Bread and Rice. It Was All Quite Filling, yet Flavorful. It Was Not A Cheap Dinner, and The Total Bill For Three Was Almost Three Digits. Still, For A Special Meetup or Event, You Can't Beat The Environment, Food and Good Times That Result. FIVE CLAWS UP HIGH!!! Merry Christmas! "Joe The Bear"

the prices are high but worth it. the cheese bread and both salads are delicious. the average price for two (without alcohol) is about $80. however, the entree portions are big and can easily be split between two. sometimes the service isn't always the best, the wait staff could be a little friendlier. it's too expensive to eat here all the time, but it's a nice treat.
