“Food's alright, but don't go here if you're in a hurry!”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

This is a cozy, hole-in-the-wall restaurant. There is indoor and (not too comfy) outdoor seating. They have a nice coastal Mexican décor. I really liked the cardboard cutout of the Dos Equis guy with a real rosary around his neck. I ordered rolled tacos and it took 30 minutes to get my food. Right around the time you think your food should be ready, you'll see that there are 10 orders ahead of you. Great place if you've been swimming or surfing and are hungry for beers and Mexican. However, the rolled tacos with guac, cheese and sour cream were pretty flavor-free. All I could taste was the sour cream. Again, if you're really hungry and want a beer or two, this is a great place.

“Great food, great view!”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

This is another little great secret for the locals, and well worth a try if you are in the area. The food is great, and you can sit outside and watch the ocean (and hear the birds on bird rock!). If you order the vegetable burrito, prepare to only be able to eat half! Tasty food and worth the walk to try it. The cashier couldn't count change, but that isn't uncommon anymore so that's not a statement on the restaurant. Just check if you pay cash.

“What a great surprise”
Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

Try the shirp tacos and the chicken soup. Also the carne asada tacos. The food was really great specially the shrimp tacos. Almost as good as in la Paz Mexico. The menu is large and they prepared from scratch so it takes time but is worth it. If you are in the area try in. They have a small seating bar with a sea view. Tacos de camarones empanizados y una chela XX.

“delicious lunch!”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

we stopped by bahia don bravo for a quick lunch; my husband and I split a burrito and each had a fish taco. Both were delicious. We also sampled some of the various salsas from the salsa bar, and while we each had favorite (mine - avocado salsa, his - pico) they were all good.

One downside - things were a little slow in the kitchen, but I think we got there after a big rush - and everything was really fresh once we got our food!

inside seating was a bit crowded, but that's okay - it's a small space! we started eating out on the patio, which had great views, but the wind picked up so we moved inside.

we'd definitely stop again!

“Bad Food”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

The fish and chips was nasty. The fish tasted old and the oil used the deep fry the fish must have been old too.
