We are staying at the Lodge for a little 5 day vacation. It is wonderful. The room is spacious with a great view. The staff could not be more accommodating. Alll in all, a very pleasant place to vacation if you're in southern CA?

I have stayed all over San Diego many times.
My most consistent hotel is the Lodge at Torrey Pines.
Very consistent,
Very Clean,
Great food.
Consistent room service.
Great linens!
Great pillows!

I bet I have close to 30 nights there in the past 8 years.
Great location and great breakfast

Room Tip: Try the Oatmeal at breakfast.

A four day stay on business and everything was perfect at this outstanding facility. This is one of the few places I have stayed for business that will be a destination for personal time with my wife.

No doubt about it: The Lodge at Torrey PInes is one of the most beautiful spots in SoCal for enjoying a glass of great wine enlivened by a lights-out view. Service in the bar is impeccable, the food in the grill room adjacent to the golf course is great---but the flagship restaurant, AR Valentin, is disappointing. For the most part, the service is indifferent and based on a couple of experiences, the quality of the cooking is unpredictable. So---enjoy the view and go somewhere else for dinner!

Excellent hotel and service. Breakfast and lunch somewhat overhyped and pricey. Does not rate the food higher than average. Pool area is nice but people should not be allowed to reserve a place as there are sometimes not enough lounge chairs available while a number of them are not used for hours, Easy walk to state park with beautiful high views over the beach. There is valet and self parking. Self parking is best as your car is close to your room (at same level) and no need to wait for valet. Valet parking was $27 and self parking $22/night. A high price to be paid for self parking. La Jolla and surroundings are at least 15 mins away. Overall, a nice and quiet place to stay.
