“Well done tour!”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

We were here on our honeymoon and decided to book this kayak tour. We were very pleased with having decided to do this. The staff at the location was great. The tour guide was informational, instructional and kept it funny and interesting. Just make sure you can handle sharks (although they are non aggressive) and are ready for a little bit of a work out. Enjoy!

“Couldn't have gone better”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

Five of us went on the kayak & snorkel tour. The weather was great, ocean was smooth, and the water was clear. The guides were fun, helpful, and knowledgeable. Check-in went great and we were given a free, large locker to store our stuff in. The wet suits all fit great and were dry (unused for the day) even though we were in the last snorkel tour of the day. All the help were friendly and helpful with any question or issue.
The only negative is finding parking, but that is true for all the businesses there as well as those just going to the beach.
We will definitely go back.

“It's a must!”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

Wow! If you want a small adventure, this experience is a must! The staff was earnest, interesting and well qualified to lead a kayak tour on the ocean! Our guides were the best! Sea life, ocean air and water, what more could a person seek!!! IF you are near San Diego, make sure you put this on your list.

“Thrilling experience”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

We had planned on just renting kayaks, but the water was so crazy that the lifeguards wouldn't let anybody out without a guide so we went out with Andrew. The waves were huge so they put people out in the water to help us get past the waves. It was a fun day to be there because even the guides were excited at how choppy the water was. There were six of us that shared double kayaks. We saw dolphins, sea lions, and even jelly fish down in the water. It was a workout, but they let you go at your own pace. Getting back into shore was an adventure. Two of our three kayaks tipped, (well one tipped and one complete flipped in a somersault!), but that just added to the fun. I don't think it is typically that wild, because even the other guides had all gathered on the beach to watch the kayakers try make it in! Andrew was a good guide with stories about some of the local history. We didn't get to go in the caves because of the water, but it was worth it to have all the other excitement!

It was also nice that they had lockers to put your stuff in while you were out on the water. They transported the kayaks for you and they provided the helmet and life vests. Overall a very good experience that provided some awesome memories!

“Must Do!”
Reviewed July 30, 2013

This was maybe the best "thrill" of our entire trip. The staff was incredibly friendly and fun. We had never kayaked before, but it was really simple, but of course we had great weather conditions with very little surf or swells. The leopard sharks freaked out my wife just a bit because there were quite a few of them, but I found them fascinating (they are bottom feeders, like carp, no threat at all) along with the sea lions. Those puppies know how to make some noise, ha. Trevor was our guide and he was great. You not only get to experience the water and some of the aquatic life, but you also get some tourist guide information about the people and homes along the shoreline. I highly recommend using La Jolla Kayak for touring the sea caves.
