With soooo many gorgeous La Jolla Cove Restaraunts, we finally found our favorite spot at Azul! The staff is beyond nice and every time we dine here it feels like a special celebration. They have amazing appetizers that I only wish to replicate. Any oyster love must order oysters from here as they have an array of sauces you can pair with it and even a variety of oysters to select from. Obviously Azul is known for their steak and they do not disappoint! Best steaks ever I usually go for either the rib-eye or filet Mignon can't go wrong either way. You can drench your steak with whatever specialty chef sauce you want. Last but definitely not least, end the night with any of their divine desserts it's a bite of heaven with each of there desserts. Trust Azul in La Jolla is a must!

This restaurant has a really nice ambiance and had it not been dark out, would have had spectacular ocean views from every seat in the house. The food and service was great also! I highly reccomend Azul! Some people were dressed up, some casual.

We dined at an ocean-side window on May 1, 2013. While the rib-eye with Perigord optional sauce and the prime rib were both delicious (accompanied by an Au Bon Climat P:inot Noir), we did have some service problems but as soon as Lara Wood, a manager, was made aware of it she corrected the situation. The renovations are now completed and the views are magnificient. By the way, a manager and sommelier Will Burtner has left and is at a steakhouse in a Casino in Valley Center, CA.

Our last night in La Jolla we enjoyed a delicious steak dinner at this lovely restaurant. The service was great the steaks were aged and tender. Nice hot sliced loaf of bread served first, and then we split a Caesar salad which they pre-split for us. Nice wine list and best of all a beautiful view of the ocean. We could see the seals on the rocks and the sunset was gorgeous. We did call for a reservation but were not guaranteed a window seat. So we got there about 6:15 and had a great table. Prices were not bad for an upscale restaurant! I would definitely return!

We went to Azul's during our last trip to La Jolla and enjoyed it. When we are on the coast we love to dine where there is a view and Azul's certainly offers a wonderful view of La Jolla and the cove. The waitstaff was professional and attentive. The food was well prepared. My wife had the salmon and I had fillet and we both enjoyed our dinner. It wasn't the best food but it was certainly good and we had a nice evening. My only comment or suggestion is that it feels like the restaurant could use a facelift.
