This coffee shop feels as comfortable and bustling as can be. The vibe is old school, but the clientele is La Jolla residents. So the food is great. No nonsense in this diner.

Liked it so much, we went there twice. Easy to walk to from Prospect avenue.

Had a wonderfuld breakfast there, watching the staff, which were busy as bees and very helpful. Locally owned and run since the 60's. You can get just about anything made to order. Great people watching. You can't beat this for great food all the time.

Harry's Coffee Shop was a quaint little place with a great breakfast. Be sure to get their early as this place is a local favorite and fills up quickly.

This place boasts that it's been family owned and operated since the 1960's, and it truly felt that way. It had a very 'home' feel to it. We only stepped inside for a few mintues as we opted to sit outside. It was a bit breezy but they had heat lamps which was nice. I noticed other people said it was expensive, but I didn't find it outrageous. I had a grilled cheese with bacon, my fiance had an omlete (stuffed with bacon, cheese, mushroom and onion) and our friend had a burger. We each had milkshakes as well which were awesome! It came to about $45. I didn't consider it to be too expensive and would definitely venture back there next time I'm in La Jolla.
