We arrived at 7:45 am on Mother's Day and there were already at least 25 people in line. A coffee urn and crumb cakes were set out on a table on the sidewalk to help pass the time. We were seated within 15 minutes. The menu was varied with very interesting choices. The food and service were excellent!!!
We liked it so much that we had breakfast there the next 2 days. We had a few nice chats with the owner/manager, and he said that over 800 breakfasts were served on Mother's Day and the wait was up to 2 hours---showing that many folks love this restaurant.
We certainly would eat here often if we didn't live 3,000 miles away!
Cottage is well run, with friendly employees and they serve delicious, not run of the mill breakfasts. We dined both outdoors and indoors and both locations were great.
We highly recommend it, but go early if you don't like to wait since it filled up by 8:30 on weekdays.
