Terrible hostess apart from her atrocious manners all good. The crab cakes were excellent. Good local beer. Fish and chips good. The waitress was fantastic.

“Could not be better”
Reviewed December 24, 2012

This place had a good rating on Google, but we had no idea what we were in to. This place is a cozy little cottage converted to a restaurant. We ate outside and had the blue crab Benedict. It was absolutely delicious. My boys shared a pancake that was obviously a spacial home made recipe. I am cheap, but I consider this place a great value. A little higher but it is worth it. Aside from the amazing view, I enjoyed most the honesty of this place. It is not trying to be anything, just a tiny place that serves amazing food. LOVED it.

“Cozy”
Reviewed December 12, 2012 via mobile

We happened to pass by this quaint restaurant going back to our car from the cove. The place is very inviting. They served a wonderful fruity pinot. The menu is limited but they do mention that they serve comfort food. The fish and chips was fresh, the soup of the day, tasty and even my kids enjoyed some chicken fingers. I could have stayed there all day thinking it was my own backyard. They just mAde you feel at home. A wonderful place.

“Best San Diego Breakfast Spot”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

This place is AWESOME! We made it our Sunday brunch spot and were never disappointed. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating areas and the service is very quick. The atmosphere is very laidback and you are not rushed to finish your meal. They have a extensive breakfast menu - there is literally something for everyone; vegans to meatasaurous lovers... The only down side is that it's beautiful location makes it hard to find parking - I would recommend coughing up and paying $5 at any of the parking garages, it will make your life much easier!
