“Great addition to the Village”

The first time we ate here we sat at the bar. The food was amazing! No one does brussel sprouts better! Everything was great, from beet salad, to asparagus with egg! The menu constantly changes and we went back for the Sunday dinner. Again, everyone loved it! The decor is phenomenal, from the light bulbs to reuse of materials. Check out the old signage!
Our server was great, he even shared some recipes which we have tried since.

“Excellent!”

My husband and I ate in the bar about a month ago and it was excellent. We had oysters, monkfish and a crust. Food was delicious, service was excellent and atmosphere was very cool. We went back again tonight and brought our 95 year old mother (in law). She LOVED it! The waiter and manager made a fuss over her. We ate in the dining room and had the scallops, monkfish, short ribs, beet salad, and chocolate sundae. OMG the food was fabulous. And the place was hopping on a Monday night. It was noisy but not too noisy to carry on a conversation. There was a great mix of people. We live in the neighborhood and will be back!!

“For the price and location, you can do better”

Five of us had a business dinner here recently. Overall impressions were only in the four-star range. We were in around 6 PM and they were not crowded, but service was slow. The staff was very well informed about wines and the menu. The head chef (Amanda, I think) had the night off and maybe without her QC things suffered a bit. The appetizers were excellent and maybe that is where this place excels. It sounds odd, but the clam and bone marrow pizza was outstanding, as was also the beef and tuna appetizer. Most of us began with a mixed drink and the general opinion was that the bartender’s work with subpar … some even detected missing ingredients. Of the entrees, the chicken made the greatest hit, followed by the short ribs. The low point was certainly the pasta and clams which two of us ordered. On the plate were five of the tiniest clams you ever saw … probably not even legally harvested, each covered with what tasted like Progresso Italian bread crumbs and butter. No even a remote hint of a taste of clams. Why bother? And, I doubt that the pasta was made in house, which these days one grows to expect. With all of the great competition in the area, why bother with this place. None of us could come up with a reason.

“Great atmosphere!”

We just had drinks and an appetizer, but they were delicious! Loved the inside, which is really like being outside on a patio! Great drink selection! Definitely a fun place!

“What a cool place!”

This is such a cool restaurant to visit! We only went for drinks, but I hear the food is amazing (I can certainly vouch for the cocktails). The restaurant itself is worth going to see, with 5 full size trees INSIDE of the seating area. Great design... I would have moved right in, if I could've!
