We really enjoyed our experience at the hotel. The grounds are beautiful. The restaurants are great. Service was a little slow, but the staff made up for it with their hospitality. Would definitely stay here again. Great location too!!

Room Tip: All the rooms had lovely views. I especially liked the rooms overlooking the main courtyard.

The staff is very warm and welcoming. We used a Groupon offer and we had no issues using it. We loved the architecture, style, and feel of Estancia. Made us feel like we were far away from home, which was nice.

Beautiful place, excellent room and the customer service was astounding and very friendly.
We purchased our stay through Groupon an got a great deal.
The bartender that night was very nice and funny we had a great time.
The girls at the Spa were wonderful and my husband and I had great massages
We will definable stay again.

Checked in at about 1 p.m. although only one couple in front of us , the check-in took 15 min. Understaffed. Room was clean but shabby, poor lighting - TV had more snow than picture. Resort was under renovation and the noise was
unbearable. We should have been informed of this when we made the reservation.
When we brought this to their attention no attempt was made to rectify situation We were there for relaxatiom - not to listen to jackhammers! Would never go back there again nor recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: Choose another resort!

Thank you for your review and bringing your concerns to our attention. We truly apologize for your recent experience at our hotel. We have been working very closely with the General Contractor to ensure that the project does not interfere with our guest’s enjoyment of the property. Work that may produce elevated levels of noise is only to occur between 9 AM- 6 PM Monday- Saturday, which is within the ordinance set forth by the city (7 AM- 7 PM). In addition, we apologize that you were unaware of the project. Again, we have done our best to reach out to guests and the community, but will learn from this situation should there be similar projects in the future. Your comments have been brought to the attention of the executive staff so we can look into the issue further. At your convenience, please call 858.550.1000 and ask for Aaron Anavim so that we may further express our apologies.

My wife and I stayed at the Estancia in October for two nights. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Purchased one of the nights through Groupon after I had made the reservations and the front desk was more than willing to change the reservation to ensure I received one night with Groupon. Everything was going great until two hours after checkout my wife realized she left a scarf (wrap) in the room. We checked out at 11:00 and called at 1:00. We were told security did not arrive until 5:00 pm. Needless to say, by the time security arrived and accessed the room, it was too late. We were disappointed with the security policies in place for such a nice resort. The scarf had significant sentimental value to my wife. So, for us a bad ending to what was a wonderful 31st anniversary weekend.
