We went on Saturday 7/8 and it was crowded, but there was still room for us to find a good spot to lay out a blanket and enjoy the ocean. There is a playground and restrooms. Well worth the visit.

There are many beautiful beaches in Southern California. There are many that make for an enjoyable day. This beach offers clear water and very pleasing surroundings not to mention beautiful people m. Most local hang there and that says everything one needs to know. Grab your towel and enjoy your day

This beach was great for my teenagers. We kayaked and they got surfing lessons. It’s certainly a tourist spot though, complete with ice cream bike bells, and people everywhere. My kids would give it a five, only leaning towards a four because it wasn’t really a place to relax if that’s what you’re looking for.

Get there early, ask life guards about currents. We set-up and found out that our area had a rip current and the kids couldn’t body surf or boogey board there.
Lots of people!!
Close to food even though you can’t see it. If you go by the Shores hotel, the streets around it have tons of food.
There’s bathrooms, showers and grassy park area with a playground. Great for all ages.
They have a part of the beach with fire pits-if you plan on staying for the sunset!
Enjoyed our day!!
