Very nice area to walk along the shores. Go towards the cove to see the sea lions. It can be crowed during the weekends.

Massive expanse of nice walking sand and great views toward La Jolla. Nothing like it for a romantic walk as the sun sets.

Waves rolling into small bays and inlets between worn cliffs. Surfers battling to stay up in the larger bay.

Awesome beach place with a couple good tasting restaurants in the business district. Seemed the restaurants on the North side of the street on Avenida de la Playa were the best on the block. This is Piatti, and Voulez Vous Bistro. Both have nice terraces, Voulez Vous being the more simple one. It looked like they were working on renovation though. Beach is cool! They made a new lifeguard tower that looks pretty neat and overlooks the whole beach. Made me feel much safer out there!
