We did the Birch Aquarium at Scripps in La Jolla. Costly but well worth it and fun for all if you take your time. Lots to see and very educational and alluring for the kids with creative stuff to do that peaks their interest. The tide pools with aquatic life forms are very captivating as is the rest of the aquarium.
Go out to the two large outdoor patios and the views of La Jolla Beach are are as good as it gets here. The cliffs with the tide crashing into it with regularity and the calm beaches expanse is so rewarding to see and feel part of. You know that feeling.
La Jolla Beach is my favourite beach here and hang gliders and wing suitors still go off the cliff near Scripp's Institute of Oceanography high on the cliff. They soar out over the ocean for a distance and come back and land in pre- designated spots.
It's a good place again for all to visit and enjoy what else San Diego has to offer.More
