Owner description: San Diego's most desirable spot for swimming, diving and snorkeling. The water is calm and the cove is ecologically protected. There is also a world famous dive site that is located in the La Jolla ecological preserve.

Kayaked with La Jolla Kayaks. took about 2 hours, excellent way to view la jolla, ca. Enjoyed the caves and sea lions.

A beautiful setting once you find a place to park. We found a picnic table right by the ocean setting. Several families out enjoying the area and the day. We has a great time.

Too much of too much. Get rid of the tourists and seals and it might be OK, but there are so many other nicer places to go.

Great for adults and children. My 9 year-old loved playing in the beach and crashing waves at La Jolla Cove beach, loved watching the seals at Children's Pool beach and loved collecting sea shells and sand dollars along the tide pools. I loved the free parking, the relaxing sounds of the waves, the cool ocean breeze, collecting sea shells and exploring the tide pools. We hit the usual tourist spots in San Diego and we agreed this was our favorite day. Go, you won't be disappointed! We parked beyond the 3 hour limit and did not get a ticket - we were by the swimming beach for about 5 hours then moved up to the tide pools and were there for about 3 hours.

La Jolla is a Malibu that fuses itself with urban panorama with a touch of class and elegance.

I have been hanging out in la Jolla and I did not expect such a great atmosphere. Terrific views of the ocean, everything so saddle (the houses, the shops, the beaches) felt like I was on a movie set but without any “fake” walkside or “fake” buoldings.

Surfers meet families, activists meet sea otters in simple words FANTASTIC.

Take a bit of Manhattan beach way of living, mix it with Malibu and add a bit of Laguna Beach … that’s La Jolla !
