Owner description: Seven elongated fissures in the cliff walls that can be entered during low tide.

The sea lions now guard the entrance, but a smile is your password to enter. Low tide is not the best time to go.

Must go to La Jolla caves to expeience the ocean close up for a birds eye views. Steep, wet steps are adventurous and easy. Cost is aourd 5 dollars but worth it. Go out back down the path after you see the cave and look at the views.

THe best thing to do in San Diego area. Period.
Sea lions, pelicans, kelp forest, great views, leopard sharks (Totally harmless) big orange fish, schools of fish all over. Amazing!

This is what California is all about. Take the time to find parking and come on down. This place will take your breath away

Since we walked ALL the way down to the end of the cove, we decided why not go into the cave and pay an overpriced admission.
The walk down was not fun and you had to be very careful (yes they do warn you about it being slippery). When we did arrive in the cave, you couldn't see much because of the glare of the sun outside.
It was an "ok" experience, but would not pay for something like this again.
