“Couldn't find anything better”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Eating establishments are quite scarce around Klamath, the Forest Café was as good a choice as we could find. Food was ok, service was ok, prices were a little pricey.

“Convenient to the Trees of Mystery”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2013

Our server was very helpful, but she said they were understaffed due to another server leaving two hours early, so we waited longer than I would've liked. But, I understand how these things happen. The food was pretty good. I had the California Chicken sandwich, my mom the Shrimp Louie, and my daughter grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was the least spectacular, but she decided not to eat anyway so it didn't matter.
The lemonade is fresh squeezed and our server brought extra lemons so I could tarten it up as much as I wanted. Bless her for understanding that lemonade was not meant to be a watery, sugary drink!

“Just okay”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

There aren't a lot of places to eat around here, and this one is all right. We went because we were staying at the adjacent motel, and because we read about it in Roadside America. The decor is ... distinct. Half the room is done up like a floral forest, and the other half looks like the tables are underwater. The food is adequate diner fare, and our waitress was very friendly and efficient.

“Only If You Are Starving”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2013

The Tree of Mystery is in a fairly desolate location. There are no other places to eat. So by default we ate across the street ate at the Forest Cafe. there. The employees are very nice.

However, we waited about 10 minutes to be seated. I am positive the wait staff saw us there. We were tempted to seat ourselves since there were only about 25 people in the restaurant.

We ordered our food and it came out fast. The food was fast food quality.

When we tried to pay our bill our server disappeared. We waited and I finally asked another server to get our bill and box.

It was a little annoying to be there.
