We picked the hotel because it was nearby the bus terminal and they provide bus shuttle service from Sapporo for a min charge.

Hotel was old but acceptable. Room size was ok. Wifi did not work well. Breakfast was good but remember don't missed your time slot given, they refuse entry even if u have 5 mins b4 breakfast close.

Special breakfast corner for kids is a nice touch but no control as to customers without kids also help themselves with the food there.More

Mediocre hotel at exorbitant prices
Maybe I booked too late but for $380/night I expected more than torn up walls, crying babies and thin futon mattresses. My shoes got stolen when I was in the onsen, our breakfast table got taken by other customers and they wanted to charge $5 to store a bag!

Poor & Bad customer Service But Good Facilities
This is the 3rd time I had bad / poor customer service in Japan with these Onsen/Ryokans stay run by the local Japanese. The service was really bad and unacceptable. As my travel is in Dec and it was very cold winter with snow fall and temperature below 1 degree, the hotel does not provide HOT water on the dispenser after 10pm at the lobby! When we went to approach the reception staff for it, the reply was very rude and they just gave a straight NO & with their hand gesture showing an X to indicate a straight NO! On my 2nd day, i went to ask for direction to get to Hell's Valley and Bear Park and the staff that attended to me was very unwilling to disseminate info to a inhouse guest! I m really very upset and dissappointed and I reckoned that only these hotels run by the local Japanese have very bad and poor customer service! The hotels down in Sapporo city were not like that and their service were EXCELLENT! I get to experience 2 different kind of service during my trip! haha ... but I would say, the breakfast and dinner served at Noboreibetsu Manseikaku is good!

Old onsen, Bad front counter service
Good location, just in front of bus station.
Very old onsen room. Not really clean compare to other onsen in Japan.

We direct reserve dinner during our check in, inconsistent price given by the counter lady. Dinner in this onsen can be avoid, the food is not good.

Breakfast ok

If you would like to leave over your luggage in the hotel after check out of 10 am, it will charge you 500 Yen per luggage.

Definitely will not come back.

1. Flat screen tv
2. Public onsen bath in the hotel
3. There is drinking water in the fridge
4. Good wifi connection
5. Strong pressure shower
6. Convenient store Seicomart just 200m away
7. Convenient store 7-eleven just 300m away

Neutral
1. Old style tatami Japanese bed ie. bed on the floor. Good for first time experience but not for long stay.
2. Toilet and bathroom are separated. Some people like this arrangement and some people don’t.

Cons
1. Small room
2. The hotel will only make up your bed from 6.00-9.00pm. Therefore, for other time, you only can sit on the floor unless you make up your own bed.

Found bed bug on futon
Seems most hotels in this onsen town are all in some state of disarray. Truckloads of tourists from China and Korea arriving at this hotel and there is a general mix of tatami and western bed rooms. Regret not asking for beds as spotted a bed bug on the futon that was laid out. Futon is thin and mattress and blankets look old.

Came in summer so the restaurant aka mass hall had no aircon and provided handheld fans for guests to dine and fan themselves. Room aircon was weak although portable fan provided.

Will never recommend this hotel.
