When booking your room and buffet dinner package, do know that they have two different buffet dinner options at two different dining halls - one with only two crabs (less expensive) and one that's more expensive with three types of crabs. Don't just book thinking you'll automatically get the more expensive and fancy buffet.

Room tip: Ask for a room facing the town on upper floor

This is a busy hotel, which takes in many tour groups. The breakfast quality is above average and full house during meal time. Remember to try the local produces, potato.
Hotel room is quite comfortable with slightly bigger bathtub.
The lobby has a gift shop which sell many items and it opens from 7am in the morning to catch the crowd before they board the buses.
Men Onsen is big, outdoor setting is semi under renovation.

It's best located at east of the bus station on the Onsen town , less than five minutes walk. The food is plentiful and tasty , the hot spring spas can comfort you and wash off tirednesses . The traditional Japan-style tatami is a better way to stay here. It's near to walk to hell valley and bear park cable station. It's a nice choose to stay in noboribetsu onsen .

This hotel was a good choice for a relaxing onsen vacation. There are buses that will transport you to the hotel from Chitose Airport and Sapporo. I recommend this hotel based their front desk service , Classic Kaiseki dinner and the Onsens. There are over 30 onsens at the hotel some of which are outdoors. These outdoor onsens are remarkably beautiful during the winter. As you lay soaking in the steamy hot spring waters tiny snow flakes drift down slowly around you. A beautiful relaxing experience. There are also 4 different types of water and different temperatures to choose from. Though speaking limited english the front desk staff was very helpful. I never felt I was ignored. The Classic Kaiseki dinner (Japanese multiple course Haute Cuisine) is a must for those who love Japanese food but you must request it days prior to your arrival. However, I got lucky and they were able to accomadate me on short notice. The included hotel dinner and breakfast buffet had only a few western choices but many asian foods to choose from. However, this is to be expected as it appears that nearly 100% of their guests are asian. The quality of the buffets are satisfactory. The only local attraction that we saw in Noboribetsu was "Hells Valley." It was a enchanting primal landscape of steamy streams, mulitcolored rock accentuated by a soft blanket of snow. Bring your camera and some snow shoes. I would recommend this hotel.

Room tip: try to get a room facing the mountains
