After seeing the reviews, I was reluctant to stay but this was the only place we could find at the last minute. The rooms were clean and bigger than expected. No stains on the carpet in the rooms that we had. The beds were firm and a bit short but standard for Japan. We had two rooms and each had two twin beds. Each room had an air purifier and there was no tobacco smell in either room (and I am a non-smoker so I am quick to notice). Both rooms had a new plasma TV, no English channel (of course). Each rooms also had modern temperature control but you will need to read Japanese to use it properly. I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel had free wi-fi (I saw the router sitting in the hallway so not sure if that is permanent).
There are only a few parking spaces for cars but the hotel is a few minute walk from the station. The building is not easy to spot as it is in the shadow of a huge apartment block next door. Overall a comfortable place to rest while exploring the local area (if that is what you want to do).More
