Oooow, i do get in trouble with my conscioness here. Usually i skip these kind of all-inclusive places but after three weeks of Laos and Cambodja it suddenly felt so good to be pampered for two days. We didn't leave the complex but with an excellent white beach on your doorstep, a huge pool (to my standards) and a fairly good restaurant who cares. OK, the prices are almost like home but then the convience is also nice. Lots of expats, real-estate hawks and governement officials around though. Guess this is as top end as Sihanoukville gets. Staff is superfriendly but when the officials arrive they tend to choose who's master and who's just a guest they probably never see again. Had my first Spa-experience here and the signature massage was great. Had a great stay.

Excellent staff service, nice rooms, beautiful private beach, although the pool was warm under the hot sun. Wireless internet was intermittent, but overall the stay was excellent. Unfortunately, no golf course within 200km.

Sihanoukville is a 3 hour car trip from Phnom Penh and the beach town is a clustered group of budget guest houses, happy hours and cheap dining options. The Sokha is not the same cultural experience as you would have in the rest of town but is rather a quiet place to relax away from the noise and bustle of it all if you've been in the city all week. A huge buffet is served each morning and you can spend your day in the large pool swimming up to the bar for smoothies, take a dip in the Gulf of Thailand, get a traditional Khmer massage for an excellent price, workout in the gym and enjoy a seafood dinner on the deck of the pool without ever leaving the complex. If you'd like to experience the local scene, there are tour bus shuttles available and the local food is quite good and a much better value than at the Sokha.

I went for a swim at the far end of the Hotel beach on Wed 28 and 2 security guards shouted out insults at me. The Tuk Tuk drivers were also rude if you refused to take them. And the hotel staff were haughty and neglectful towards foreigners. To be quite honest I got the impression that the Khmers in this Hotel simply did not like foreign tourists. People make a place, and they people in this hotel made it a rotten place to stay.

Great pool, beautiful beach, nice hotel with good food at a reasonable price - near by surrounding hasnt much to offer, but warmly recommend to visit some of the islands. Could have been without the trip between Phon Penh & Sihanoukville - very stressful w/two small kids but currently only way to get to Sihanoukville - wouldnt have been without Sihanoukville so worth the trouble.

Spent 4 days with group of friends, standart buffet breakfast, good coffee at the bar, large lobby and adjacent bar, wifi in lobby and closeby rooms, nice clean rooms with balcony facing pool and parking lot, nice large pool, clean beach almost empty with beach bar,
restaurant with clasic hotel food,
Probably the best beach hotel in SHK, customers are expats, local a nd vietnamese business people and hingh rank cambodian govenrmental officers, comming mosty for weekends. Some arriving with large limousines and even with Rols Royce.
Reasonably priced while booked through local travel agent.
Can recommend for short stays, good for kids, a bit fa away from SHK Town, tuk tuk drive to other beaches as Ocheaetal aprox 10 min for 2 US a ride

Great hotel, best in the area, not as manicured as most 5 star hotels, the service and food was great. Walk up over the hill and indulge in lunch or dinner, in a little restaurant on the beach over looking the busier beaches. Good gym too. Sihanoukville is unbelievably inexpensive, $30 dinner for 4.
