“nice boutique hotel”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

I had a good stay in this boutique hotel.
it's really small, they have maybe 6 bungalow , and each bungalow has 2 rooms , so it total this hotel must have less than 15 rooms.

the rooms are simple but nice... the location is OK too.

However they do not manage their reservation very well. I exented for a night and paid, and then 3 hours later, they came to my room to explain me i had to leave because they had an agoda reservation ...
that was pretty annoying... on the bright side they tried to place many calls to find me an hotel room but without any luck ... it was Chinese new year, and everything was fully booked except Sokha Beach resort.

We had trouble finding a nice hotel for our stay in Sihanoukville, as everything seemed either overpriced or located too far from the beach. This was a perfect compromise: it is a nice, quiet hotel, with bungalow style spacious rooms - yes, there is still constructions going on in the area and the staff are not fully on the ball when it comes to service and the cleaning of the rooms, but they do their best with a big smile!

Breakfast has to be improved - you can only choose one drink and are charged for a 2nd, which would be an orange juice out of a can. They do not have a restaurant onsite, so the food comes from a small restaurant nearby, and by the time it comes to your patio, it may be a bit cold. The great part though is that you order it the night before and choose the time you wish to have it at - very practical, if you have to leave at a precise time.

The pool is very nice. The beach is only a 5-min walk away and can get very hectic, so lounging by the pool is a nice option. As we found out later (when we had checked out), they do have beach towels, but I guess you have to ask for them. We were also allowed to check out a bit later in the day, as we had a night bus to take, and that was a huge plus.

Overall, we were very happy to have stayed at this hotel, and would definitely recommend it.

The reality is far from this beautiful photos on the web site. Hotel surrounding is just a big construction site with a lot of dust and sand. I hope it will look much better once they finish construction. The pool is smaller than it looks on photos and breakfast is not the best we ever had.
On the other hand, service is good and staff is friendly and helpful.
Rooms are spacious, but not very clean.
It is a new hotel so I hope everything will get better after time.

Spacious bungalow style rooms with comfortable bed,wi fi and TV. Huge shower and bath although there was a nasty smell of sewage from the toilet etc.....
Newly opened hotel with a few essentials missing - bottle opener for bottles of beer being sold - but am sure these teething problems will be ironed out. Lovely pool area and breakfast served poolside was a treat. Nicley positioned away from the busy sea front but still only 5 mins walk from the beach.

After to sleep in a terrible guesthouses and dirty bungalows finally I found a great place to spend my last night in Sihanoukville... blue sea B Guesthouse is a nice place located in central vile and very quiet in the same time. Big rooms, very comfortable bed, everything very clean, you can take your breakfast near the swimming pool ... And the most important : great staff to help you anytime .
