This is a mediocre hotel in a town full of mediocre hotels. The manager is European but the standards are strictly Cambodian. I paid $15/night for a fan room but it's easy to find fans rooms in Sihanoukville for $7 to $10. The bed sheets were dirty of course. A bit noisy too, but well that's to be expected in this country. And then there's the crowded gauntlet at the entrance to this place. No one can come and go without the stares of management, staff and other customers. I wouldn't stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay away from the noisy drunks.

The place was very dirty (bed, sheet ..). The room wasn't cleaned up. The sewer system wasn't properly working, so it was stinking even in the room.
The staff played the music very loud until 2 am, every single night I was there.
It's overpriced. The price went up from 8 to 20 dollars within 2 weeks, without any notice.
Don't go there !

Room Tip: n'aller pas à @home guest house.

I turned up for my 3rd visit to snooky, tired and emotional after the coach trip from BKK took 30 hours. Everywhere was booked, it was 10 at night, so they saw my situation and took advantage of it by charging me 25 dollars per night. Mo hai Chai over the road is 6 dollars for the same kind of room. The place is Swiss owned, and in the 3 days I was there, I had the Swiss owner and his friends talking their own language and staring and laughing at me everytime I was at the bar. Extremely rude, overpriced and nothing special. The Cambodian staff, on the other hand, were fantastic. Give it a miss. Save your money and find somewhere of the same standard for less.

Room Tip: Don't pay extra for aircon, the walls are quite thick, so a fan is fine

Stayed here for 4 nights in August, in a double fan room with tv and hot water for $8 a night. Pretty good price for Sihanoukville - we checked out a few places before choosing this one. We are a couple and are backpacking.

TV broke in the room but was replaced quickly, bathroom drained really slowly, but for $8 it was cheap and pretty good for backpackers.

Located in a good position on the road towards the beach. The hotel bar seemed a touch seedy at times, but the whole of Sihanoukville was like it really. @home is gated at night after 11pm which is good, also very quiet at night.

$15. The room smells terrible n mosquitos are everywhere. The AC is fine. It was blackout for like 5-10' twice/day n we stayed there for 3 days, blackout happened everyday. The food is ok. Milkshake is god damn good-best i've ever had. Service is ok.

after multiple emails and a secure booking, we received no correspondence from @home to confirm pickup.

the owner was indifferent to the fact that we had to get our own tuk tuk to the place with no apologies or explanation.

booked a/c room but its not working. no heater and tv wasn't working. we were not even offered a fan when we told the owner that a/c is not working. all we got was he's not sure and he will send for someone to check it.

we went out to the beach and came back 3hrs later. still not fixed and was told the guy will come in one hour. while we were waiting, the 'working girls' sat by the open space and started their 'business' hassling guests telling them their room numbers. all while the owner just looked on and give a shrug when you look at him.

after 2hours of waiting in our steam room, we decided to leave the place and booked into another hotel closer to the beach. till the end, no apologies, no explanation offered.

Stayed there one night with my friend, and we were witness of staff attacking a guest ,

after guest got things stolen from room, and guest was angry asking for his wallet,

we saw when they gave it back to him, angry guest was telling the night manager that he was a bad person, thats when manager tried to punch the guest,

lucky for that guest he turned it around, very rude staff, some of them were good but some bad,

watch your things,we left the day after to another guesthouse Mohachai and that was friendly and nice over there.

p.s.
sihanoukville is getting less and less tourists every year due to higher crime, women getting raped and murdered, and more and more getting robbed,so be careful in dark areas, specially to otras beach in evening, and never let girls go alone there or back.
The town is also lossing its good will as service is not so good in many places, and power company is taking off power too many times too often,so even if you pay for a fan room or aircon it might not work thru out the hole day,and guesthouses still make you pay fully

but overall this town is nice and beach is nice, food is cheap, its a nice town in many ways tho.
