One of the dirtiest and saddest room i ever had to sleep in and for 15 dollars???? In the room there was only one towel so i asked for another one (2 of us in the room) and they didn't give me! Forgot my phone in the room and never got it back. Terrible, shameful place. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else!

I have stayed here several times and highly recommend this guesthouse. The rooms here are clean, functional and spacious. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. However the food in the restaurant,in my opinion was mediocre at best. There are many restaurants nearby that serve up better fare.I suggest a room on the top floor where a nice ocean breeze is always prevalent.

Room Tip: Aircon is not really neccessary.Fan rooms are adequate,Just open a window and enjo the sweet ocean b...

I stayed here for 2 nights and found it a rather awkward place. The staff was not nice, not helpful at all and not interested in guests. Besides, every day all the staff as a group was yelled at by the manager (I guess). Extra toilet paper had to be bought and heaps of tuktuk drivers were trying to get your attention when you walked out. Finally, something was stolen out of my room, with which the guesthouse was not cooperative at all..
The location is nice though, since it's almost directly at the beach. After a good night out on the beach I was glad it wasn't that far.
It wasn't too expensive, compared to what other guesthouses asked for those nights, but still I would go to another place next time.

The rooms are just what u want for $18 a night! Double bed, a/c, ctv, ensuite an clean!!! However the staff aren't very friendly!!! Everything u ask seems too much trouble for them... They don't smile... They follow u around when in the reception area... And then when they clean ur room and change ur towels they don't leave u any hand towels, so when u check out u are accused of stealing them!!!! We had to empty our bags to prove we hadn't taken them and that it was a mistake of the cleaners!!! Disgusting treatment!!! Would not stay here again because of that and the staff.

I arrived fairly late in the evening and this place was one of the few that had room available. It is a fairly large place in number of rooms from what I can tell. The rooms were clean, the water pressure wasn't the best but it was hot. The bathroom was small and so you end up getting water all over it, so make sure to move the toilet paper prior to showering. I did notice one gecko in my room one night but no bugs to speak of at all.

Their is a restaurant at the place and the food is reasonable and comparative to like locations to eat. The staff were all quite young and didn't speak very good English, which was a surprise since I found it quite good in the other areas of Cambodia that I have been in on this trip. Everyone was friendly but very business like friendly.

The location if about a two minute walk from the beach and all the action going on down there so it is reasonably quiet when you want it to be...aside from the continual maintenance and upkeep that was going on.

The rent scooters for a few US dollars a day and mine seemed to need to be in repair, but hey, it worked.

Not much else to say about this place.

Room Tip: This place is fine if you want to be close to the action but not on top of it....you get what you pa...

Hi, we are season travelers and love Sihanoukville and loved the bungalows before they were taken over by GBT. We had agreed to a set rate for a 3 month stay, but that changed without warning when ever they thought they could charge more for our room. The maids had to be literally brought into the bungalow to get it some what clean. If you were not there, they enjoyed watching tv and going through your things. We were cleaned out of 5 plus chocolate bars, spare tooth brushes-Canadian, deodorant etc. What ever they thought you would not miss right away. We saw them many times opening the door of bungalows and not even going in. Some guests didn't get their room cleaned for 4 days, until they complained. One poor fellow had to pay 25 cents for a roll of toilet paper at the desk as the maids had not been to his room for the 4 days he was there. When the different folks complained to Management, the maids showed them "Oh Yes, see in my book we cleaned". We laughed when we heard this. What they did with the water bottles, toilet paper, soap that would have gone into the rooms is anyones guess. If you choose to stay at GBT we would recommend that you lock everything up and double check it regularly. Not much of a vacation if you have to watch your incidentals that carefully. We were lucky that we had locked up everything of value.

Really rude and unprofessional staff. Cleaning crew don't clean your room or provide fresh towels (you have to collect them at the reception counter every day yourselves), 'the book' says they have, but sand and dirt is everywhere, even in your bed. If you ask for new toilet paper, they make you pay for it. No public shower available after checking out (although they say there is, don't believe them, it is a bucket of water in a squat-toilet).
To be short, DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE!
If you really need to, agree on your room rates for the entire stay, since they might just increase prices all of the sudden. I shared a double room (25 dollar) and prices varied from 25-70 dollar for the same rooms. It just depends on the mood of the manager I guess.
