“Nice hotel, bad neighbours”
Reviewed March 7, 2014 via mobile

The hotel was clean, newish and we'll kept. The staff, friendly and happy to help. The room was clean with fresh linen.....which isn't always the case is She Asia.

Unfortunately all of the negatives that affected us were out of the hotels control.

Between approximately 4 and 6 every afternoon, the neighbours burn their rubbish which means if you are in a room near them, which we were, the smoke is pumped into your room by your air con. Then opening windows or doors let's in even more smoke.

Then once the smoke fades away, the Ferris wheel across the road starts. This is no ordinary Ferris wheel but rather a huge, bassy sound system that pumps heavy techno music straight at the front of the hotel. This continued until approximately 10pm every day, sometimes later if it was popular that evening.

Don't like saying negative things about a hotel and its even worse when its not their fault.

Besides these two phases, it was pretty nice. We stayed 5 nights total and just spent more of the afternoon/evenings out at dinner or perhaps just watching the sunset!

Would stay again if the Ferris wheel moves along

The rooms are good size and clean. Also quiet which can be difficult to find in Sihanoukville. Good little pool outside the front doors and right across the from the beach. Good breakfast and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The manager went beyond the call of duty to ensure guests were happy. Good value hotel.

Clean rooms comfortable bed. Quiet. Good breakfast liked the omelette option, pleasant view from dining room. South facing view over sea, and could open window, missed not having balcony. helpful staff. Bike hire from tourist office opposite worked well. Wifi -variable. Handy for beach. Hawkers were a little problematic. Sea and beach clean, surf present but swimming nice in warm sea.

Mrs Rottana Sary was very efficient in her email communications and also offered cheaper pick up from the bus station. Unfortunately we couldn’t accept their offer as our arrival time was undecided. She also arranged a bike for us and gave us sightseeing tips. For our airport drop, they suggested us the airport bus which cost only $6 each.
Excellent location, decent sized rooms. They do have a pool but didn’t use it as the beach is just across the street. Decent breakfast with a view. Lockers for valuables available in the lobby.
Pool/beach towels would have been nice.

This place was good to stay in and breakfast was reasonable with a good view, staff friendly.
For dinner =a cross road to beach front and plenty restaurants.
Hotel was fine and cheap $32 per night for double .

This was just an overnight stay on a 20 day tour. Loved the setting just across the road from the beach front. The hotel was clean as was the spacious room. Did not eat dinner in the hotel, but crossed the road to the beach front and all the restaurants which line it. Found a bar to get a drink and bought 10 grilled squid for $3, off a lady with a pole-kitchen. (Hint: make sure the coals in her cooking fire are red hot, then you will know the food will cook ok.) The breakfast was on the roof terrace and open to the sea view, which was quite beautiful as the Cambodian boats were to and fro along the beach.

This place was good to stay in and the room was large, nice bed, good shower, lovely staff. The toilet was broken but I managed to fix it up. The breakfast was reasonable but the coffee was cold which was fixed with some hot water. For dinner you can go across the road and onto the beach then go right and walk about 150m and there are lots of seafood restaurants with what is for sale for cooking out the front, make sure that you get the price for the meal prior to cooking then relax on the beach with your food and drink.
The swimming pool was a good colour.
